Where is your studio located?

I work at Duskwood Ink Tattoos at 139 Main St Unionville Unit 105, Unionville, ON L3R 2G6. There is free parking available on premises, and the shop is within driving distance of the Unionville GO Train Station. There is also local public transit available.

How do I book an appointment with you?

An appointment booking can be secured in a number of ways. The first way is filling out my Booking Form and once the form is reviewed, I will get back to you over email. This is good for custom designs, flash designs that you would like to make small modifications to, and tattoo touch ups for returning clients.

The second way is to book online via my bookme.ink page. This is good for easy booking of flash pieces, paying the deposit directly online and picking your appointment time online. The pricing and sizing information will be listed with each flash piece, making it easy to directly book through the website.

Which tattoo styles are you interested in tattooing?

I love tattooing in a lot of different styles, and below is a list of my preferences. If a style you’re interested that isn’t listed, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask! If your piece isn’t in my wheelhouse, I will absolutely give you a referral to a fantastic artist that will do an amazing job in the style you want.

What forms of payment do you accept?

E-transfer, debit, credit and cash are all accepted for payment for your tattoo appointment, and deposits can be sent via e-transfer.

Do you work on cover-ups or reworks?

I love to do tattoo cover-ups and reworks, and take on these types of projects on a case-by-case basis.

What can I expect in terms of pricing?

Pricing can vary considerably between tattoo pieces, as it is dependent on many different factors such as style, sizing, and complexity. Pricing information for custom pieces can be obtained through contacting me, and specific flash pricing is available on my bookme.ink page.

My minimum for a tattoo is $150. My hourly rate in Markham/Toronto is $150/hr and for guest spots, my hourly rate is $175/hr. I do not charge for set up or breaks, only the time spent tattooing. After solidifying the details of your custom design, I will give you a time range estimate and if you are booking a flash piece through bookme.ink, the pricing posted is calculated with my hourly rate in mind.

A $150 deposit is required to book an appointment, the deposit can be paid online via e-transfer to michromatic.tattoos@gmail.com or through my bookme.ink page for certain flash pieces, and the deposit will come off of the final price of the tattoo once completed.

The deposit is non-refundable and will be claimed if a reschedule or cancellation is made with less than 48 hours notice before the date of your appointment. One reschedule is permitted and if more than one reschedule is made, the deposit will be claimed and a new deposit will be needed to move forward with an appointment.

What are your drawing policies?

If you are getting a custom design from me, I will send you the design via email 1 - 2 days before your appointment and you will be able to make up to 3 changes if desired. Any changes past the initial 3 will cost $75 each and any costs from additional changes will be added to the total for the tattoo. If the design is of what was specified but a complete redraw of the design is desired, the deposit will be claimed and a new deposit will be needed to move forward with the appointment.

What are your shop’s policies?

The shop only accepts clients that are 18 + years old, and clients must not be breastfeeding or pregnant. One guest is allowed during your appointment.

Is there anything else I should know?

Please be respectful in your correspondence. I will not tolerate verbal abuse, rudeness or disrespect in relation to my policies, work or designs. I reserve the right to terminate any project immediately should I be treated in this manner at any point in the process, and your deposit will be forfeit given it is non-refundable.
