Appointment Information and Policies
Appointment Location: Markham, Ontario.
I work at a studio in Markham, Ontario and the address will be provided during correspondence. There is free parking available on premises, and the shop is within driving distance of the Unionville GO Train Station. There is also local public transit available.
Pre-Tattoo Prep and Appointment Suggestions:
If you are feeling unwell on the date of your appointment, please let me know as soon as possible and I will reschedule you.
If you have had Covid exposure in the week leading up to the appointment, please let me know so I can reschedule you as soon as possible.
Please exfoliate and moisturize the area of placement in the days leading up to the appointment, and shower the night before or morning of your appointment as well.
Eat a large meal within 2 hours before your appointment.
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy access to the area being tattooed.
Bring snacks, water and anything you may need to stay comfortable during the appointment, such as headphones, etc.
Do not drink the night before your appointment. This can impact your pain tolerance on the day of the appointment.
Please do not make plans for before or after your tattoo, and if you do have a hard cutoff time, please let me know beforehand. The timing given for the tattoo is an estimate and sometimes the appointment may run longer due to breaks, etc.
Policies:
You must be 18+.
You cannot be tattooed if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
You cannot be tattooed if you have a sunburn in the area of placement.
One guest is allowed per appointment.
Do not arrive at your appointment impaired by drugs or alcohol. If you arrive intoxicated, your appointment will be cancelled, your deposit forfeit, and you will need to leave a new deposit to move forward with rescheduling your appointment.
A $150 deposit is required to book an appointment, the deposit can be paid online via e-transfer to michromatic.tattoos@gmail.com or through my bookme.ink page for flash pieces, and the deposit will come off of the final price of the tattoo once completed.
The deposit is non-refundable and will be claimed if a reschedule or cancellation is made with less than 48 hours notice before the date of your appointment. One reschedule is permitted and if more than one reschedule is made, the deposit will be claimed and a new deposit will be needed to move forward with an appointment.
The service fee for any flash claimed through my bookme.ink page is paid to Bookme.ink and is non-refundable.
If you are getting a custom design from me, I will send you the design via email 1 - 2 days before your appointment and you will be able to make up to 3 changes if desired. Any changes past the initial 3 will cost $75 each and any costs from additional changes will be added to the total for the tattoo. If the design is of what was specified but a complete redraw of the design is desired, the deposit will be claimed and a new deposit will be needed to move forward with the appointment.
Please be respectful in your correspondence. I will not tolerate verbal abuse, rudeness or disrespect in relation to my policies, work or designs. I reserve the right to terminate any project immediately should I be treated in this manner at any point in the process, and your deposit will be forfeit given it is non-refundable.
The pricing for all tattoos, including flash on my bookme.ink page, are subject to tax during checkout at the conclusion of your in-person appointment.
Debit, credit and cash are all accepted for payment for your tattoo appointment. Deposits can be sent via e-transfer.
